Abby is a former law firm partner and an experienced consultant and transformation leader who helps professional services firms like law and accounting firms improve their commercial operations and drive growth. With a background spanning 25 years in marketing, sales, and operations roles at a top four accountancy firm and in the legal and accounting sectors including regional heavyweights, boutiques and Top 60 Law firms, Abby now runs her own advisory firm, Ambire Advisory. She specialises in areas like merger integration, restructuring and upskilling business and professional functions, cross-selling and pricing: building scalable business structures - all while ensuring firms don't lose the agility and culture that makes them successful. She is fortunate to have worked recently with a PE-backed Top 20 accountancy firm and a Top 50 hybrid law firm; helping them build scale with programmes for effective value creation, achieving measurable key results. Abby is particularly passionate about supporting the next generation of professionals as the industry evolves. She currently chairs the leadership and management section of The Law Society and is a proud trustee of the Good Impact Group.”

Shilpa is a strategic advisor on legal AI, innovation and transformation to firmwide managing partners, boards, CIOs and CTOs. She is a former partner at Linklaters where she headed the Client Tech & AI team. She was responsible for spearheading the development of Linklaters' emerging client-facing technology suite and also the CEO of CreateiQ, the firm's flagship technology product. She co-chaired the firm’s Generative AI Steering Group and was a member of the Innovation Steering Group, leading the firm's strategy on emerging technologies like generative AI. She has been listed as a leading ‘Disruptor’ in The Lawyer Hot 100, 2019 and an ‘Individual winner’ of the ‘TechWomen100 Awards, 2018’. Shilpa started her career as an Energy & Infrastructure lawyer, and then Corporate lawyer before changing careers and moving to entrepreneurship. After successfully exiting a business and growing a legal technology start-up, she re-joined Linklaters as the Global Head of Innovation in 2018, taking over responsibility for CreateiQ in 2020. She is also a contributing author to two books published by Simon & Schuster, including Building the Data-Driven Law Firm, where her chapter “Unlocking Contractual Data” explores the strategic power of legal data; and Women and the Law, featuring her chapter “Technology, Gender, and Justice: AI’s Role in Women’s Advancement in the Legal Profession,” reflecting her commitment to shaping a more data-driven, inclusive future for the legal profession.
